GRATITUDE
Hello everyone . Welcome back to my
self help peaceful life blogs. How are you ? I Hope you are well and having
great time after starting to do positive affirmations daily mentioned in my
earlier blog. Todays blog is about daily gratitude towards things you are
grateful for in your life. Lets get to know about it.

What is gratitude, and why is it important?
Gratitude is way of expressing you thanks to the universe in return of
all the beautiful things you have in your life. It allows us to send our
positive feedback into the universe about all the abundance we have. Gratefulness
makes our body and mind to be at peace as it creates positive energy within us .It
is important because when we show our constant gratefulness and gratitude
towards all the beauty and abundance around us this positive energy attract
more positivity from universe and nourishes our life .
2. What are the benefits of gratitude?
Daily gratefulness has several benefits –
Emotional Wellbeing – When we start practicing daily gratitude our emotional
behaviour of mind starts becoming stable due to all the positivity we are
creating within ourself by appreciating small things in and around our life. We
starts to see positive side in everything . We no longer complain or blame
others for their mistakes or their wrongdoings to us , we start to see things
from positive perspective, try to step in their shoes . Even if things do not
work out we choose to forgive them and
thankful to them for happy moments we spend with them .
Physical Wellbeing – I strongly believe in the the theory of vibrations by buddha
that is , everything is within and around us are present in form of energy or
vibrations . What we choose to send to universe is going to get us back in same
energy. If we are sending positive energy is universe we will get positive
energy back . Which is going to reflect is form of joy , emotional well being
and physical wellbeing. Our positivity is going to reflect on our health. After
some time you will notice that you are not going to get sick as often like
earlier or their will be visible benefit in health and mood.
Mental Wellbeing-
Daily Gratitude will make our mind calm from its positivity which we will
start generating within ourself and receiving
from the universe. It helps to elevate our mood ,reduce depression and
anxiety. Every emotion or situation will be followed by gratefulness towards every
small thing we have or we are experiencing ,which will reduce the hate or helps to cope up with the negative
emotions like anxiety or panic we are experiencing at that time.
3. How to start Gratitude habit?
Forming a new habit is little bit of motivation , excitement ,promise to
ourself to change our life, nervousness
,doubt, determination etc. It can be challenging or difficult to follow through but
it we can overcome it by taking small steps rather than setting unrealistic
goals which can be hard to follow through. So our motto should be “ one small step at a time” .
Small steps can be like – giving 2-5 min time in morning or bed time
routine assigning it to practice gratitude. I usually do gratitude with my
daily journal writing which I do every morning or you can do that night before.
Start by incorporating questions into
your journal like “what I am grateful for”, “3 things I am grateful for”, “expressing
gratitude to beautiful things in my life”. You can also practise after your
meditation routine. You can also start by listening to gratitude podcast but it
can be passive source. Writing It down or meditation will be active source of
positivity.
4. How to be consistent with practising
gratitude daily ?
The most
difficult thing about forming new habit
is to be consistency. Habits take long
to incorporate and become everlasting daily routine and can be easy to replace in
distractions. Try not to make it overwhelming
or lengthy or unrealistic to follow through. As I said earlier we should start
by taking small steps or setting realistic goal like for example force yourself
to do it only for 2 min daily or writing down only 3 things or 3 lines you are grateful for then you gradually
increase it over time . After doing everyday you will find yourself writing 10
things you are grateful for . Everything
improves with consistency and time.
5. Daily Gratitude :-
Here are few things you can write and say for things you are grateful for
–
1. I am grateful for my life.
2. I am grateful for the food to end my
hunger daily and keep my body healthy.
3. I am grateful for the roof over my
head which protects me from sun, wind and rain.
4. I am grateful for warm clothes to
wear which protects me from cold.
5. I am grateful for the sun, the air
and earth.
6. I am grateful for the beauty of
nature around me.
7. I am grateful for my health and well
being.
8. I am grateful for my calm mind and
fit body.
9. I am grateful to see, to speak ,to
talk ,to be able to peform my own basic duties.
10.
I am grateful for all the abundance in my life.
11.
I am grateful for all my blessings.
12.
I am grateful for all the opportunities I receive that lead
to growth.
13.
I am grateful for all the lessons and teachings I receive.
14.
I am grateful for all the challenges that lead to growth.
15.
I am grateful for all the guidance I receive.
16.
I am grateful for positive influences in my life.
17.
I am grateful for all the love I receive.
18.
I am grateful for all the protection I receive from the
universe.
19.
I am grateful for my faiths and beliefs which guides me to compassion.
20.
I am grateful for my good upbringing .
21.
I am grateful for my supporting family and friends.
22.
I am grateful for all the opportunities I receive to help and
uplift others.
23.
I am grateful for having positive princ
iples and mindset.
24.
I am grateful for my resilience.
25.
I am grateful for my calm mind .
26.
I am grateful for my job, earnings and livelihood .
27.
I am grateful for meeting all the wonderful people in my
life.
28.
I am grateful for all the failure which lead to growth.
29.
I am grateful for all the success .
30.
I am grateful for my comfortable lifestyle.
I hope
